NCC

The NCC in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from High School and Universities all over India. The cadets in this club are given basic military training in small groups and parades. The Motto of NCC is ‘Unity and Discipline’.

The School provides opportunity for students to join NCC seeking to motivate and inspire students to come forth and join this national club which aims at moulding them to discipline and unity thereby making them active members of the society. At present the school has enrolled NCC only for girls.

Band Club

The School Band Club enhance and improves the quality of every program that takes place in the school through it’s different beats and tunes that liberate from every instrument and has its special and undeniable significance. The club was formed in the school with a view of providing opportunities to students who have interest in various musical instruments and give a platform to those willing to establish themselves in musical arena.

ECO CLUB

Eco Club SFS Higher Secondary School will be called as ‘The Desalite Green Society’ and its members will be called Green Ambassadors.

  1. OBJECTIVE : The Desalite Green Society would take initiatives which includes use of paper bags, steel launch boxes, water management, saving electricity and to celebrate important days related to environment, ecology etc. The Green Ambassadors will pledge to work in an environment friendly manners.
  2. MEMBERSHIP: Groups of enthusiastic, environmentally concerned and socially committed students studying 7th – 9th standard, aged between 11 – 15 years are chosen to form an Eco Club. Interested teachers would be enrolled as Eco Club Co-ordinators.
  3. Competition for Eco Club Members: Competitions consist of essays, quizzes, poster makings, placards and drawings and are rewarded by prizes.
  4. Working Activity: Green Ambassadors are encouraged to maintain Gardens in school as an Herbal demonstration garden. The overall objective of the Garden is to grow plants and encouraged students to look after the watering and weeding, and organically maintain the Garden with effective utilisation of solid wastes.
  5. Meetings: The Desalite Green Society would meet and keep the minute of the meeting.
  6. SET GOALS: The Desalite Green Society would set goals and activity lists for an academic year.
